Hannover Airport Suburban Rail (S-Bahn) Service
The airport is approx. 11 km north of Hannover and 20 km from the fairgrounds. Suburban railway (S-Bahn) line S5 connects the airport to the main train station. Service is daily between approx. 5:00 a.m. and midnight, with departures every 30 minutes. You will find the S-Bahn station between Terminals B and C. Travel time is 15 - 20 minutes and the price of a single ticket is EUR 2.70. You may purchase tickets from machines in the S-Bahn station and at the main train station.
