Numerous major European cities offer direct flights to Hannover Airport; convenient connections from the U.S. include Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hamburg, London, Munich, and Paris. Public Transit to City Center
Suburban railway (S-Bahn) line S5 connects the airport to the main train station. Service is daily between approx. 5:00 a.m. and midnight, with departures every 30 minutes. You will find the S-Bahn station between Terminals B and C. Travel time is 15 - 20 minutes and the price of a single ticket is EUR 2.70. You may purchase tickets from machines in the S-Bahn station and at the main train station. Click here for timetables in both directions.
Bus 470 runs between the airport and Langenhagen-Zentrum station 2 or 3 times per hour. You may reach Langenhagen-Zentrum station via tram line number 1, which runs from the main train station.
Porter and Shuttle Service at the Airport
