RENEX

RENEX encompasses the complete spectrum of renewable energy technology. With 231 exhibitors from 16 countries and 17,258 attendees from 57 countries, the show's debut in November 2009 achieved tremendous success. Due to increasing demand, the originally bi-annual show will be organized annually and the 2010 installment will see the addition of a second hall.

As a showcase for renewable energy and energy efficiency, RENEX brings together national and international manufacturers, project developers, investors, as well as representatives from the public sector. Key topics are solar, wind and geothermal energy systems, technology for efficient energy use as well as co-generation systems.

During the opening of RENEX 2009, the Turkish and Swiss Energy Ministers stressed the importance of renewable energy generation for Turkey. Throughout the show, many Turkish and international manufacturers took advantage of the opportunity to present their solutions to public and private decision-makers.

Anticipating the enactment of favorable legislation, interest in RENEX 2010 has already gone up markedly, especially by international companies intent on entering the Turkish market. A Swiss, international and several German pavilions are already confirmed. What's more, the 5th German-Turkish Energy Symposium will take place in co-location with RENEX 2010.
