Industrial Automation Show

China's gross domestic product is estimated to grow by approx. ten percent in 2008 and 2009. The country is one of the world's biggest importers of plant, machinery and equipment from the mechanical engineering sector. Double-digit growth is also expected in the market for laser technology. Furthermore, estimates suggest that between 2006 and 2010 investment of approx. 96 billion euros will be needed to meet China's requirements in water supply and treatment plant. In these sectors, as in many others, there is a great demand for modern automation technology. In short, the prospects for healthy sales and investment opportunities remain excellent.

Foreign manufacturers and investors are welcome in China, which still depends on imports of leading edge technology. This situation is refl ected by the high proportion of international exhibitors -- some 50 percent are from outside China. In other words, you too should use the IAS as a platform to reach the vast market potential of China and boost your business success!
